My career has always centered around helping horses and riders work more comfortably together. With more than 40 years of experience as a chiropractor, 35 years working with horses as an equine chiropractor and 30 years specializing in saddle fitting, I’ve developed a unique understanding of how the horse’s back, movement, rider and saddle all work together.

About Me
Experience You Can Trust
Saddle Fitting Experience
For more than 25 years, I have specialized in saddle fitting, evaluating thousands of saddles across a wide range of horses and disciplines. My approach considers not only the saddle itself, but how it interacts with the horse’s back, movement and the rider.
Training & Education
Cumbria School of Saddlery, England
Coursework through the Society of Master Saddlers
My saddle fitting education includes training at the Cumbria School of Saddlery in England, along with coursework through the Society of Master Saddlers. This formal training, combined with decades of hands-on experience working with horses, gives me a practical understanding of saddle fit, equine anatomy, movement and biomechanics.
Duett Saddlery
As co-owner of Duett Saddlery with my wife Sheri, I have gained an even deeper understanding of saddle design, construction. I have been to the factories in England. Working directly with riders and horses has reinforced how important it is to look beyond saddle size alone and evaluate how a saddle actually interacts with each individual horse.
My Philosophy
“A saddle should work with the horse—not ask the horse to compensate for the saddle.”
